Sometimes we design something which does not make any sense....at the first look…

After some more thoughts there is a different perspective.
All Sailor knives corrode sooner or later ...at serrations, engravings, inserted pins, and so on.

They more features they offer the heavier they get and one tool is always missing!

What does one need on his Sailor-Knife ?

• a blade actually for rope cutting only
• a Marlinspike to open wrongly "knitted" knots
• a shackle-tool
• a screw driver (almost all V4 stainless screws have a slotted head)
• not to forget a bottle opener
• and last but not least  a boatsvain´s call pipe (bosun´s whistle)  mandatory for Yachts of a length of 12m or more

So why not making it out of 100% Aerospace Titanium - hard enough for the blade and all other tools
no corrosion, non-magnetic and lightweight

We just did it !
